Director of Responsible Gaming
With three decades as a respected businessman and resident of the Virgin Islands, Sandy brings extensive industry experience and an unparalleled commitment to his community. As the driving force behind the Responsible Gaming Program, established by SGVI to proactively address problem gambling issues, he educates using a variety of proven tools and resources. His educational efforts have led SGVI to become a member of the National Council on Problem Gambling. Since joining the company in 2004, he has been recognized by colleagues and customers as a positive, energetic leader, creating an environment of mutual appreciation and respect.
Through dynamic and engaging presentations, Sandy is directly responsible for conducting problem gambling training classes for Retailers, SGVI management, and fellow employees. This program is a testament to the dedication SGVI has to its customers and the community-at-large. Under Sandy’s instruction, class participants are trained to recognize and attend to compulsive gamblers with tact, compassion, and professionalism.
Sandy is an avid golfer and boater, maintaining a 100 ton Master Captain’s license. Sandy is a dedicated family man, enjoying his life in St. Thomas with his wife and daughter.
