Video lottery is configured in partnership with its Government client so government officials can oversee the operation of every Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) on an almost real-time basis at all times. Because of the flexibility of a video lottery system, different games can be added and customized to benefit a specific market, without changing the VLT’s hardware. In addition, financial records are generated both locally within each VLT, and centrally within the certified Central Monitoring System (CMS) that will be monitored by the Government. All reports generated by the CMS are fully auditable and verifiable by the Government. These records assure complete accountability for all credits, payouts, and net revenues generated through the video lottery system.

The reliability and backup system within the video lottery system assures complete accountability of every dollar of video lottery revenue. Procedures within the program help the Government ensure the playing public are treated fairly – something impossible to do in illegal, unregulated gaming.
